WEDDING
MILLS—STIDOLPH.
The marriage took place at St Mathew’s Church, Masterton, last evening of Isabell, second daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Stidolph, of Makora Road, Masterton, to Ernest Mervyn, second son of Mr E. W. Mills and the late Mrs Mills, of Blenheim. The ceremony was performed by the Rev E. M. McLevie, Vicar of St Barnabas, Roseneath and Mr H. Miller Hope presided at the organ.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a becoming frock of angel skin satin with a long train. She .wore an embroidered veil made by her cousin, Mrs D. France, of Wellington, and a coronet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was composed of regal lilies, white and pink carnations, gypsophila and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids, Miss Edith Stidolph (sister of the bride) and Miss Alma Davies, wore frocks of green floral georgette and lemon floral georgette respectively and carried bouquets of pink sweet peas and carnations, pale blue delphiniums and maidenhair fern. Little Pamela Gibbs, flower girl, wore a dress of pale blue floral georgette and carried a posy of pink sweet peas and carnations, pale blue delphiniums and gypsophila. The best man was Mr Harman Mills and the groomsman Mr Roy Mills. The bride’s .mother, who wore a dress of floral moracain with navy blue accessories, and the bride’s aunt, Mrs C. P. Berg, of Wellington, who'wore an ensemble of floral georgette, received the guests at the Parish Hall, where the reception was held. The happy couple left later for a tour of the South Island, the bride wearing a navy blue pinned-striped costume, with hat and shoes to tone. Mr and Mrs Mills will reside in Palmerston North.
