GREYTOWN

AN UNUSUAL ACCIDENT. (“Times-Age” Special.) An unusual accident occurred on the Waihone bridge about 9.30 a.m. on Monday. Mr G. Dickel, of Masterton, was coming south in a car and when he reached the bridge he was confronted with a mob of cattle. He pulled up and a young man, Mr Benjamin Rayner, who was riding a motor-cycle, crashed into the rear of Mr Dickel’s car. Mr Rayner received a nasty cut on the head and a bruised shoulder. Mr Dickel conveyed the injured .man to Dr. Oakey’s surgery. After several stitches had been put in. his head Mr Rayner was taken to his home by Mr Dickel. Personal. Mr and' Mrs E. G. Thomas and family are the guests of Mr H. Walden, McMaster Street.
