MASTERTON SALE
RULING MARKET RATES MAINTAINED. Prices on a par with those ruling at recent sales were realised at today’s Masterton stock sale. There was a fairly large attendance of buyers, who. however, operated within restricted limits. The yarding was not up to usual numbers. Fal ewes made from 10s to 11s and fat 4-th. wethers to 20s 9d. Black face m.s. 2-th.s. realised from 14s to 16s and fat Jambs. 12s. 20s 3d 1o 21s 6H. Lic'u fat ewes brought Bs, fat woolly ewes 8s 6d and ewes wh.li Hmbs foot . : 6d. Two drafts of 4-th. wethers and 2-th. wethers were passed in ai 17s jU :md 15s 3d respectively.
