MEETING OF THE BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Wairarapa College Board of Governors was held last night. The board congratulated the staff and pupils on their excellent work during the past year, special mention beim.' made of the demonstration and drill display. It was decided to forward a letter of thanks and appreciation to the speakers who had delivered lectures to the scholars at the end of the year. The board agreed to write to the Minister of Education, the Hon P. Fraser, thanking him for coming tc Masterton to address the pupils of the college on the occasion of the break-up ceremony.

It was decided to send a letter expressing the board’s sympathy with Mr P. M. Smith, a member of the\ board, who was injured in a motor-car accident and the hope that he would have a speedy recovery.
