BLUE & SCARLET
THE NEW TERRITORIAL UNIFORMS. During the last two months members of Territorial units in Auckland. Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin have been measured fen' the new fulldress uniform. A.ll units in the four main centres will be supplied with the uniform before the end of January and the issuing of the uniform to units elsewhere will be proceeded with steadily as stocks come to hand. i Blue, with scarlet stripes one inch I wide on the trousers, and scarlet edgings on the shoulder straps, the uniform is made of excellent quality New Zealand material. For social occasions and normal wear it is completed by a belt of the same material and a Glengarry cap with scarlet piping. The belt can be replaced by a more substantial one for ceremonial occasions. The cap has the great advantage that i it can be slipped into a pocket when I not required. As full dress, a blue I peaked hat is worn, fitted with a pug-1 garee according to the unit. The new uniform should prove very popular’in the Territorial Army and assist' in further increasing the efficiency of the force.
