DEATHS FROM COLD
FOUR REPORTED IN BRITAIN MANY IN EASTERN EUROPE. TRAINS HELD UP ON FROZEN TRACKS. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, December 19. Four deaths from cold are reported. Southend is coated with ice. hailway tracks are frozen at the points, holding up trains. Twenty persons were frozen to death in East Ukraine. Many are dead in Poland from the same cause.
