RESTRICTIONS UN JAPANESE DEMAND. MILITARY AND DOMESTIC NEEDS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) TOKIO, December 16. The prospect of Japan’s importation of wool in 1939 will depend almost entirely on military and exporters’ requirements, because the estimated stock carryover into 1939 will approximate 60.000 bales. This, which has been earmarked for domestic use. based on recent restricted consumption, will suffice until October. However, further restriction is contemplated.
