DUKE OF KENT

VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND. NO OFFICIAL INFORMATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. No official information has been received by the New Zealand Government of a visit to the Dominion by the Duke of Kent. This statement was made by the Prime Minister, Mr Savage, when asked last evening if he were in a position to confirm a London newspaper statement that the Duke was to visit New Zealand for the centennial celebrations in 1940. Any member of the Royal Family, he said, would be assured of a warm welcome from the people of New Zealand.
