ROTARY CLUB
HOME CHILDREN ENTERTAINED. There was a large attendance at today's luncheon of the Masterton Rotary Club when the children from local homes were entertained to a Christmas treat. All present, both visitors and members of the club, wore paper hats and the gathering was quite a festive one. The president, Mr H. H. Daniell, presided. Among the. visitors were Mr C. E. Wheeler, of the Parliamentary Press Gallery, who gave an interesting and informative talk on a tour of New Zealand lighthouses in the Government steamer Matai. Captain Burgess, master of the Matai, was also present and had a few words to say to the gathering.
