In a “Volkischer Beobachter” interview, Dr. Franz Basch, leader of Hungary’s 600,000 German minority, lays down the following concessions desired from Hungary:— (1) Recognition of the principles of the popular unity and personality of racial groups. (2) Provision of German-speaking schools and training colleges. (3) Removal of impediments to the creation of German newspapers. 1.4,1 Permission to establish youth charity organisations. i j.i 'permission to lake up collectu) German language religious in s. ruction and church services. , Organisation, if necessary of the j.on minority t’.s a political party. Dr. Basch add's that Dr. imredy, Premier of Hungary, is likely to agree tc these demands.
