Three young men who were given a lift in a car travelling to Newcastle today attacked the driver, a Seventh Day Adventist, Pastor Thomas Anderson, took control of his car, bound, gagged and robbed him and threw him into the bush. They drove off in the direction of Newcastle. Pastor Anderson eventually freed himself and informed the police at Wyong. All three were arrested on the outskirts of Newcastle after a shot had been fired at them.
