MARTINBOROUGH

EXHIBITION OF SCHOOL WORK. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the exhibition of hand and. colour work displayed in the Parish Hall last evening by the school children. An address of welcome was given by the chairman of the school committee, Mr A. Brimble, and the headmaster, Mr Pryor. A short programme was presented, including lecturettes by Sybil Clan. Florence George and Gordon Hardie, and two sketches “The ’Ole in the Road” by the secondary pupils and “People Will Interrupt” by the primary pupils. A lecture on Education was delivered by Mr G. Lopdell, M.A., principal of the Wellington Training College. Supper was served to those present.
