TALKS TO SCHOLARS

ADDRESSES AT WAIRARAPA COLLEGE. Several informative and interesting addresses have been given during the past week or so to the scholars of Wairarapa College. Except for an open-air talk and demonstration on road safety, the addresses were given in the College Assembly Hall. Nationalism in Music, ably illustrated on the piano, was the subject dealt with by Mrs Miller Hope last Friday. On Monday Mrs Max Cleghorn spoke on Palestine from first-hand knowledge; on Tuesday morning Mr J. McGregor, Borough Traffic Inspector, dealt with road safety; on Tuesday afternoon Mr J. H." Kemnitz gave an address? on travel in America and this ..morning Mr T. Wynne spoke on coal and its products. Tomorrow, Miss Vivienne Blamires is to address the pupils on her experiences in England.

The College is greatly indebted td the above speakers for their interesting addresses.
