TREE PLANTING
BOROUGH COUNCIL DECISION. "I am prepared to do this whether it is a centennial memorial or not,” remarked the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, when referring, at last night's meeting of the Borough Council, to a proposal to plant avenues of trees at the northern and southern entrances to the town.
The suggestion of the Mayor was agreed to.
