MISS A. J. SHELTON

FAREWELLED BY WOMEN TEACHERS.

The members of the Women Teachers’ Association bade farewell to Miss A. J. Shelton at an enjoyable social evening held recently. Visitors were entertained at this end of season function by music and competitions. Songs were contributed by Miss Wilson, Eketahuna. Miss Shelton and Miss O’Donnel and a recitation by Miss B. Coleman. . Miss I. Tankersley, president, referred to the long membership of Miss Shelton and her service given as president and member of the executive during that period. A presentation was made in appreciation of Miss Shelton’s unfailing interest and support and carrying the good wishes of members for a happy and successful future.
