Workers’ Dwellings.

Seven sections of Crown land in various parts of Masterton borough, averaging about a quarter of an acre each, have been set apart under section 1 of the Housing Act, 1919, as sites for the erection of workers’ dwellings.

Cultural Side of Education.

“In this country, perhaps in others, too, we seem to be losing the cultural side of education,” said Mr C. T. H. Skelley, principal of the Wellington Diocesan Boys’ School, at the annual break-up ceremony at Croydon. Day’s Bay, yesterday.
