The horse will be joined in Wellington on Wednesday by Arctic King, and the pair will both compete in the chief event at the Waipa meeting before competing at the Auckland Racing Club's meeting, where both of them will run in the Auckland Cup. The other Riccarton teams for Auckland will also leave next week—H. Cutts on Thursday and F. A. Roberts and Mrs J. Campbell on Friday. Happy Memory Sold. The three-year-old Magnus gelding Happy Memory has been sold by the trustees of the late Sir Charles Clifford to an Australian owner at present visiting Invercargill. It is intended to race him at the Dunedin, Oamaru, and Waikouaiti meetings, while it is also possible that he will be raced in Southland later on. His owner then intends spelling the three-year-old before taking him to Australia. O.
