Mrs L. B. Cross, of Church Street, Masterton, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs Edgar Hornblow, of Hataitai, who had been on a visit to Masterton, has returned home. Miss K. Roberts, of Auckland, and Mrs L. Tilley, of Dannevirke, are the guests of Mrs H. Cundy, Western Lake.
Mrs Guild, Masterton, who has been visiting Mrs Andrew Guild, Temuka, is spending a few days in Wellington before returning home. A very pleasant party was held at “Ngaranui,” Martinborough, the home of Mrs H. W. Blundell, on Saturday afternoon when the Brownies farewelled Miss Hope Mitchell, who will leave for her new home in New Plymouth in the New Year. During the afternoon Miss Mitchell was presented with a handsome handbag as a token of appreciation of the splendid work she has done for the Brownie Pack.
