CALF JUDGING
WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIPS BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ CLUBS. GATHERING AT CARTERTON TODAY. ("Times-Age” Special.) The annual championship judging of the group winners in the Wairarapa Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs calf competition took place at the Carterton Showgrounds today. The judge was Mr H. W. Feast, of Greytown, The results were: — Champion Lambs: Teressa Gundersen (South Featherston), 1; Iris Wilson (Wangaehu), 2; Geoffrey Grigson (Parkvale). 3; A. Wyeth. 4. Champion Calves. Pedigree Dairy Type: Keith Parker (Dalefield), 1; Maris Ness (Kahautara). 2; Beryl James (Waihakeke). 3; Dick Ness (Kahautara), 4. Grade Dairy Type: Dick Williams (Parkvale), 1; Joan Bradley <Te Whiti). 2; Brenda Morgan (Parkvale), 3; Roy Smith (Featherston), 4. Pedigree, care, handling and condition: Maris Ness, 1; Keith Parker, 2; Beryl James, 3.
