MASTERTON PARK CLUB. INTERESTING GAMES. Several interesting games have been played recently in the various'- club competitions, details of which are as follow: — Champion singles: Spackman beat Nancarrow, 24/21; Fenton beat Leigh. 22/20; Jobson beat Moor, 24/18; Brown beat Braggins, 17/14. Champion pairs: Dagg and Jenkins (s) beat Staniforth and Bell Is), 25/18. On Saturday next the second round of the Champion rinks will be played. Play will commence at 1.30 p.m. The following is the draw: — Emerson. Spackman, Southey, Kilgour (s) v. Burke. Simpson, Braggins, Carr (s); Drummond, Roff, Jenkins, Jobson (s) v. Smith, Leigh, McPherson, Frost (s); Aydon, Buckley, Fenton, Staniforth (s) v. Butler, Dixon, Bell, Shearer (s); Dagg, Brown, Duckworth, Thompson (s) have the bye. Contestants in the singles and pairs are reminded that the time for the completion of the first round expires on Saturday next, and all games not completed by that date will be declared forfeited.
