TO ADVISE ON REARMAMENT IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) RUGBY, December 12. The personnel was announced in the House of Commons of an Industrial Advisory Panel, to receive representations as to delay, defects or difficulties in supply or production under the rearmament programme and to suggest remedial action; also general improvements in regard to the programme. Prominent industrialists on the I panel include Sir George Beharrell, a, former president of the Federation of British Industries. The panel will be . independent of any Ministers and labour questions will be outside its purview. I i FURTHER MEMBERS.’ (Received This Day, .1.35 p.m.) LONDON, December 12. Other industrialists on the panel are Mr Peter Bennet, Sir Geoffrey Clarke, Messrs J. O. M. Clark, Francis Cooper, and J. S. Addison, who is a director of Courtauld’s.
