BRADMAN IN FORM
MASTERLY EXHIBITION. AGAINST ALL TYPES OF BOWLING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, December 12. The weather was again unfavourable for the resumption of the centenary cricket match between an Australian XI and The Rest today, showers twice holding up the game. Bradman (83) and McCabe (39) reopened the Australian first innings from the overnight total of 220 for two wickets, the side making a total of 426. At stumps The Rest had scored 23 without loss. Bradman gave a sedate and masterly exhibition against all types of bowling, some of which was entirely unfamiliar. He finally threw away his wicket. McCabe gave a polished, but risky, display.
