GREYTOWN

VISIT TO WELLINGTON.

BY DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN.

About forty children from the Greytown District High School, under the care of Mr Whimp, left by bus this morning for a trip to Wellington. They intend to visit the Zoo, Botanical Gardens and Museum, and at 5 p.m. the mouth-organ band is due to appear at 2YA.

Hospital Garden Party.

All roads should lead to the Greytown Hospital on Saturday afternoon when the annual garden party is to take place.- This event is organised by Matron Higginson and her staff, and the proceeds are all used for Christmas cheer for the inmates of the hospital and Buchanan Home. The Greytown Hospital serves a large area and the residents of the South Wairarapa should attend on Saturday in full force.
