STOCK MARKET
EKETAHUNA SALE. There was a fair attendance at the Eketahuna saje yesterday, when Wright Stephenson and Co. offered a small yarding of sheep. Prices were well up to late rates, and a total clearance was made, as follow: —Woolly wether hoggets, to 18s 6d; small wether hoggets, to 14s 3d; ewes, lambs at foot, all counted to 11s 6d; shorn two-tooth wethers, to 17s Id; cull ewes, to 7s 3d. DALGETY & CO. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their weekly Eketahuna sale as follows: —A small yarding of sheep came forward and were offered to a large attendance. Competition throughout was keen, there being a strong demand for all classes of sheep. We report a total clearance as follows: —Shorn 2-th. wethers, 17s Id; cull woolly ewes with lambs at foot, 12s 2d (all counted); cull ewes, 8s 8d; small woolly wether hoggets, 18s.
