GOLD MINING RETURNS.
The Molyneux Gold Dredging Company’s dredge recommended operations on November 21, and during the two weeks ended December 3 operated for 221 hours and recovered 31 ounces of gold.
Blackwater Mines Limited has issued the following return for November: — Crushed 4100 tons, yielding 1984 fine ounces of gold from all sources, including clean-up from old battery and treating accumulated concentrates, the value of which, taking gold at 147 s a fine ounce, was £14,582. Working expenses were £7708, leaving a working profit of £6874. Capital expenditure was £1132 and development £897.
