shown in a treasure num, being rewarded with a clock. The icing of a Christmas cake by Mrs Shaw, of Masterton, was greatly appreciated. . A very good array of Christmas cakes was on view. The cakes were judged by _ Mrs Shaw the winner being Mrs S. Phelps. The oM fashioned lady competition was won by Mrs Waugh. Afternoon tea was i served on the lawn.
