Mrs Frank Wall. Martinborough, is making a brief visit to Wellington. Dr. Ada Platts-Mills is staying with Mrs R. C. Drummond, Lansdowne. The Misses Vallance, have returned from a visit -to Wellington.
The Misses Brown, Church Street, are leaving tomorrow for a holiday at Otaki.
Miss Vera Gapes, daughter of Mr and Mrs George Gapes, Karon, Wellington, was one of the party of New Zealand nurses which left by the Awatea for Johannesburg, South Africa.
ENGAGEMENT.
The encagement is announced of Rose Mary, second daughter of Mr and Mrs C. G. Bouzaid, Greytown, to Jack Albert Ernest Brooker, only son oi Mrs H. McFarlane, Castlecliffe, Wanganui. —
