SAVAGE BOXING
ARMSTRONG KNOCKS OUT MANFREDO. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. CLEVELAND, December 6. Conceding 11 lb, Henry Armstrong technically knocked out Al Manfredo in the third round of a world welterweight championship bout today. Armstrong, called “Mr Perpetual Motion,” fought savagely after receiving a punishing left hook in the second round. Manfredo did not seem to know what was happening.
