COUPLE COMMIT SUICIDE IN NEW YORK. OUTCOME OF NAZI POGROM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright NEW YORK, December 5. Shocked at the Jewish persecutions, in Germany, Mr Hudson Lewis, aged 31, and his pretty New Zealand-born wife, Sonja, aged 26, committed suicide today by inhaling gas. Both of them are of German-Jewish parentage and were plunged in melancholy since they learned that Mr; Lewis’s grandmother had dropped dead during a Nazi raid on a Berlin home for the aged.
