Mrs M. Boyne is a Palmerston North visitor to Carterton.
Mrs E. A. Staniforth, of Essex Street, Masterton, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs O’Connell, of Palmerston North, is a visitor to Carterton.
Miss Joyce Nielsen, of Dalefield, is spending a holiday at Putaruru, Auckland.
Mrs G. Sunderland, of Perry Street, Masterton, is on a visit to Auckland which will extend over some weeks. Mrs Cecil Archer, Southbrook, Canterbury, is the guest of her sister, Mrs D. Finlayson, McKenna Street, Masterton.
Mrs C. V. Sugden, of Christchurch, and formerly of Masterton, left Wellington today on a visit to Sydney where she will be the guest of her mother.
Appointments to teaching positions in its district have been made by the Wellington Education Board as follows:—Miss I. R. Askew, assistant, Greytown, from Canterbury. Miss E. M. Bliss, assistant, Te Ore Ore, from Masterton Central. Miss R. M. Goddard, assistant, Hukanui, from Auckland.
