At the wool sales, 6,424 bales were offered, including 2,877 from New Zealand and 4,549 were sold. There was a poor selection and moderate competition. Withdrawals were confined to inferior and medium lots. Rates were steady, with the .exception of those for inferior greasy Merinos, which occasionally were easier. New Zealand scoured crossbred, FW/R, brought lOd to The Bradford tops market is steady. Not much business is reported, but consumption is well maintained.
