MASTERTON CLUB. TOMORROW’S COMPETITIONS. (By “Freestyle.”) Tomorrow evening, commencing promptly at 7.15 p.m. the Amateur Swimming Club will hold the second series of the competitive events, the following being the programme:—2s ' yards boys’ handicap: 25 yards girls’ | handicap; 25 yards intermediate girls’ handicap; 50 yards intermediate boys’ ' handicap; 25 yards ladies’ handicap; 50 | yards men’s handicap; 50 yards breaststroke open handicap; 50 yards back- 1 stroke open handicap; 25 yards open j scratch race; men’s dive, 1 standing. 1 running, 1 optional dives; boy’ dive, 1 standing, 1 running, 1 optional dive; la- | dies’ dive, 1 standing, 1 running, 1 op- . tional dive. Competitors are asked to note that I under the regulations governing swim- . ming carnivals it is compulsory to 1 wear full costumes, and the committee I state that it is their intention to strict- : ly enforce this rule in future. Cotton 1 costumes are much closer fitting and 1 are also lighter so that it is really an j advantage to wear them.
