The friends of Mrs A. H. Meyrick, Wyndham Street, Carterton, will regret to learn that she is a patient in the Masterton Hospital. A very pleasant gift afternoon was given recently at the home of Mrs C. H. Arrow, “Hillcrest,” Pahiatua, in honour of Miss Eileen Hoggard, whose marriage will take place early in the New Year. • The hostesses were Mesdames Arrow and J. D. Thomson and Miss Lee Arrow.
