STOCK MARKET

FEILDING SALE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) . FEILDING, December 2. There was a depressed market at the Feilding stock sale today, with only moderate offerings. Hoggets were in principal supply in the mutton section, and for these, together with ewes, values remained at late rates. Wethers were a little easier on last week’s rates, and a very small entry of store sheep attracted little attention, prices being unchanged, but for store cows and yearling heifers there was a fair demand at better values. Run cattle were practically unsaleable at auction, but considerable business was done later by private treaty at prices satisfactory to vendors. Some fairly well-finished beef was on hand, and though competition was not brisk prices were about the same as recent sales. CARTERTON SALE. LATE RATES MAINTAINED.
