The “Daily Telegraph’s” Paris correspondent says the employers’ attitude is creating anxiety in view of its tendency to humiliate the strikers. M. Blum’s group promises to champion them and denounces the lockouts. M. Daladier urges clemency. Meanwhile the lockouts threaten the national economy. The Government’s reprisals will affect a few thousands. Half a million workers are still idle, but normality is expected in a week. The Bourse already is more confident.
