GENERAL FRANCO’S ACTION INTOLERABLE BRITISH REPRESENTATIONS TO ITALY. USE OF INFLUENCE ON REBELS URGED. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, December 2. Fifteen vessels with British cargoes, mostly grain, are at present held by General Franco at Spanish ports. Cabinet is specially considering the position and it is understood that Italy will be informed that General Franco’s action is intolerable and urged to exert her influence.
