Tomlinson, Wellington, are weekend visitors to Masterton. Miss L, Speedy, Seatoun, Wellington, has been staying with Mrs C. T. R. Richardson, The Terrace, Lansdowne. Mrs. G. Tyrrell, of Kelburn, Wellington, has returned home after having been the guest of Mrs. C. Taylor, “Waireka.” Mrs D. H. Rutherford, Makuri, was a visitor to Masterton this week and was the guest of Mrs J. J. Kennedy, Opaki Road. Mrs Ivan Wilson (formerly of Featherston) who has been acting-District Commissioner of Girl Guides during the absence of Mrs G. A. Elliott overseas, was met by the Palmerston North Guiders recently and presented with a crystal vase. Miss Lorna Davis, district captain, who made the presentation said it was a small token of appreciation of Mrs Wilson’s services to Guiding during the year.
