BOY SCOUTS
MO KATOA TROOP. ; NOTES BY “A.W.A.” The good weather is coming along now and the training that the Scouts have had during the winter should make them ready for outdoor activities. Congratulations to Cecil Sturgess and Bob Curry on attaining Tenderfoot rank, and also to Eskild Pederson and John Camden on passing, Second Class, First Aid and Compass, respectively. Get on with your tests boys, and endeavour to become first class, the aim of all good Scouts.
A Church parade will be held on Sunday, Mo Katoa’s and I hope to see a full muster for this part of our training. I would ask Scouts to be at the Den at 10.40 a.m. sharp. The Central School Band will lead the Scouts to the Church parade which this month will be held at Kuripuni.
The Scout Rally is on December 10. AS it is your day I know that you will make it a good one. Get into your practices, rally team, and I would ask all others to support them. With school examinations in full swing I wish you the best of luck and to Angus we extend our best wishes for a successful matriculation examination.
