MASTERTON PARK CLUB. INTERESTING GAMES. Several interesting games have been played this week in the various club competitions. Crafts Medals. —The challengers, Wilder, Watson, Fenton, Simpson (s), representing the Technicians, defeated the holders, Anstice, Aydon, Vincent, Shearer (s), representing the Engineers and Blacksmiths, 28/16. Champion Singles. —Shearer beat Reader, 20/17; Jenkins beat Fenton, 18/17; Brown beat Roff, 24/20; Braggins beat McPherson, 17/12. Champion Pairs. —Braggins and Carr (s) beat Frost and Dixon (s), 23/14. On Saturday next at 1.30 p.m. the first round of the champion fours will be played between the following teams:—Burke, Simpson, Braggins, Carr (s) v Aydon, Buckley, Fenton, Staniforth (s); Drummond, Roff, Jenkins, Jobson (s) v Butler, Dixon, Bell, Shearer (s); Dagg, Brown, Duckworth, Thompson (s) v Smith, Leigh, McPherson, Frost (s); bye—Emerson, Spackman, Southey, Kilgour (s). MASTERTON BOWLERS. TO PLAY VISITING RINKS.
