MEMORIAL CLUB CONTESTS. DRAW FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. Following is the draw for the club championships of the the Memorial Lawn Tennis Club:— Men’s singles: First round: Smith v Dove. Second round: Phillips v Boys; Long v Marsack; Leete v Carrig; Kennedy v Hamill; Hughes v winner of Smith v Dove match; Holdgate v Person; Connelly v Hurley; Jones v Andrew.
Ladies’ singles: First round: Miss Kilmister v Miss Percy; Miss Rayne v Miss Taylor. Second round: Mrs Hurley v Mrs Connolly; Mrs Person v winner of Misses Kilmister —Percy match: Miss Holtham v winner of Misses Rayne— Taylor match; Miss Watson v Miss Bradley.
Men’s doubles: First round: Marsack and Hurley v Smith and Holdgate; Long and Duff v Boys and Connelly; Wylie and Hunn v McKeague and Lamont; Hamill and Dow v Jones’ and Carrig; Kennedy and Person v Andrew and Green.
