LIVELY BOUT

RICHARDS BEATS SABATINO. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, November 29. Ron Richards (11.11) won his return fight with Atilio Sabatino (11.0) in the Sydney sports arena tonight by a technical knock-out in the tenth round. A vast crowd witnessed a stirring contest which was fast and even, both men taking severe punishment. Richards never fought better, using both hands to his opponent’s head and body. Sabatino, whose eye was damaged, was compelled to dance round the ring io escape the onslaught, but he himself became the aggressor during the fifth to the eight round when he looked like winning, but Richards staged a thrilling come-back in the ninth and tenth rounds.
