MR T. C. LOWRY’S APPOINTMENT. PROTEST BY THE AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 29. Strong exception to the appointment of Mr T. C. Lowry as sole New Zealand selector was taken by the management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association’following a lengthy discussion which was taken in committee. It was decided to make a ■' formal protest to the New Zealand council. The chairman of the committee, Mr W. R. Fee, who is also president of the New Zealand council, expressly dissociated himself from the motion.
