ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS
♦ MASTERTON LODGE. QUARTERLY MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Masterton Lodge of Odd Fellows was held on Monday night. Bro F. Knowles, N.G., presided. The dance committee reported that the recent function was a financial success and that arrangements were in hand for a dance to be held on Boxing Night. The Juvenile Lodge officers will be installed by Sister E. McFarlane, Grand Master of the District,’ on Saturday, November 26. The lodge will play the Petone Lodge at cricket at Petone on December 4, and a match will be played during Easter at Masterton, Wairarapa and Wellington Odd Fellows v Loyal Nelson Lodge. Dr J. A. Cowie notified the Lodge that he had taken into practice his son, who would act for him as Lodge Medical Officer. The following officers were elected: —Bro F. Knowles. 1.P.N.G.; Sister P. Wilton. N.G.; Bro L. P. Morris, V.G.; Bro P. Reynolds, E.S.; P.G. Bro A. Torrance, C.; P.P.G.M., Bro P. M. Smith, trustee; Bro C. Mooney, W; Bros J. Langley and P. M. Smith, Dispensary; Bro F. B. Wright and W. Palmer, F.S. Council. An invitation was accepted from lhe Johnsonville Lodge to a dance on December 17. Three friends were proposed for membership.
