The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr Morgenthau, indicated teat a sizeable plan was under consideration by the announcement that he is drafting tax proposals to await President Roosevelt’s final, decision on defence. It is anticipated that the Budget next January will exceed 8,000,000,000 dollars.
