Y.M.C.A. HELPERS

LADIES’ AUXILIARY MEETING. The president (Mrs G. R Beecroft) presided at the monthly meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Ladies’ Auxiliary held in the Association’s Rooms yesterday afternoon. A discussion took place on the proposal made at the last meeting to hold a garden party on February 25. Reports were given of a suggested carnival early in the New Year and as the directors bad not arrived at finality it was decided to hold the matter up for the present. A special sub-committee was aopointed to meet with a committee of the directors if needed. ■ It. was agreed that the final meet:ng of the year should be held at the residence of Mrs M. G. Mac Kay, Cornwall Street, on Tuesday December 13, at 2.30 p.m. In lhe event of wet weather, the meeting would be held in the Y.M.C.A. Afte- the transaction of other business afternoon tea was served by the ladies.
