TOWN VERSUS COUNTRY. SELECTION OF TOWN TEAM. WELLINGTON, This Day. The sole selector for the Wellington Cricket Association, Mr A. W. Duncan, has chosen the following team to represent Town against Country in the annual fixture to be played on the Basin Reserve on November 30 and December 1: —J. R. Sheffield (University), captain, J. Ongley (University), J. Ell (Wellington), R. J. Kemp (Hutt), J. R. Capstick (Hutt), W. Hepburn (Midland), R. O’Neill (Midland); C. K. Parsloe (Kilbirnie), H. F. Rice (Kilbirnie), J. McKeown (Institute), W. G. Rainbird (Wellington College Old Boys), G. L. Whyte (Wellington College Old Boys). A number of town players were unable to obtain leave to take part in the match.
