INCREASED STRENGTH NEXT JUNE. HUNDRED THOUSAND MEN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. November 18. Sir Kingsley Wood (Secretary of State for Air), speaking at the Press Club forecast an air force of 100,000 men by June, 1939. He stated that at present the strength of the air force was 85,000 compared with 69.500 in March. The financial estimates in this connection next year will probably be £200.000.000.
