DAMAGES CLAIM
LEG LOST IN TRAMWAY ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington City Corporation and the Westport Coal Company were both defendants in a case before the Chief Justice. Sir- Michael Myers and a jury of twelve in the Supreme Court today. The claim was for £7OOO Special and general damages brought on behalf of Marcia Dommllan, aged 17 years, whose left leg was amputated following upon injuries suffered when a tram and a lorry collided in Wakefield Street on. June 16. The girl was a passenger and was standing on the front portion of 'lh? tvani.
