There are more than 70,000,000 wireless sets in use in the world today, about half of them being in America. Britain has 8,479,000. while Germany has 608,000 more. Two Liverpool girls have the unusual job of walking for a living. Each week they tramp about 70 miles, testing new shoes for a Liverpool factory. Between them they have walked GO.OOO miles.
