RIFLE SHOOTING

MASTERTON—OPAKI CLUB. B. R. JENKINS SUCCESSFUL. Weather conditions on Saturday were most difficult, a left wind varying in velocity combined with a strong mirage in evidence during the early period resulted in many crashes. The score of the winner, B. R. Jenkins, was a good one in the circumstances. This marksman was the only one to reach the limit and put on the best score off the rifle. The scores were as follow: —
